At Chocbuster, there’s no late fees, just brain freeze. And thus Chocbuster, a pop-up DVD store, was born. Our store featured aisles of AI-generate DVDs, complete with titles, artwork, and blurbs. A pop-corn machine popped and hissed away as a buttery scent filled the space. And staff were on hand to talk through the titles whilst giving out free Choc Tops and asking you when you were going to repay your late fees – well, not quite that bit. In fact, a banner promised ‘no late frees, only brain freeze’! A screen featured the bouncing Chocbuster logo – a knowing nostalgic nod. A Choc Top style Jaws poster adorned a wall and there was even a ‘Quick Drop’ façade. It was nostalgia overload, and commuters lapped it up. A DVD store, brought back from the dead, to bring Choc Top home.
